A stone sofa on an obscure beach in South Devon, England, built by Ben Altman in early August 2011. The rough stone is from a nearby rock slide, the lining is sea-smoothed slate from the beach. It is a sculpture and a place of relaxation: to be used/added to/modified by those who find it. A sign invites users to send in photographs and writing about their uses/modifications. I'm not naming the location; I'd prefer people to just find it. Please respect this if commenting. Information at right.
I hope you are well, been back a couple of times now to the Dream Sofa and today remembered the camera, it looks as if it has been well used, but it is still holding up well despite the early signs of Autumn.
